What's with the weird blog title? Tss. Bittersweet Minus the Sugar.
Well it is pretty obvious that I am a first time blogger. (Yeah, i bet the lackluster layout and the lack of pictures gave me away, ack.) To those of you who don't know me and just happened to come across my virtual, intellectual turf, I am Ramon Miguel Rivera, 21 years old, a BS Biology student. But to those of you who do know me, well, hi.
Hrmm, I guess, you might as well know the reason why I started blogging.
Well the "blogging fever" (I think it peaked around 2003-2006, oh and please forgive me for the term "blogging fever") never did hit me. But don't get me wrong, I never did think of bloggers as lowlife nerds who didn't have anything better to do than write what they thought were knowledgeable opinions regarding matters that they deemed interesting enough to praise or well, make fun of *inhales then grins*. I, in fact, considered starting one (a blog) two years ago but I just didn't have a strong enough reason to pursue it and so my laid-back lifestyle got the better of me.
Now however, in wanting to pursue a job (which my older cousin and her husband manage), I am required to have covered the basics of simple blogging (thus, this, the first of probably a handful of blog entries) and I kinda was hoping that those people whom I've contacted and well, I guess you, my reader, could help me refine the chinks in my "blogging-capability" armor.
I will be updating you guys of my progress regarding the said job (among other things) as often as possible through future blog entries(just nod, smile and pretend that you care). So if you find yourself staring at the ceiling with nothing better to do, why don't you just strut (trudge, gallop, sprint, or even hop, whatever suits your mood) over to your computer room, grab a chair and well, view my blog.
So there. Thanks for sparing a little of your time in reading my first entry (even though I think you just read the first two sentences, got bored, and skipped to this closing paragraph).
Respectfully Yours,
Mon

I want to learn, well, you know, the ropes.. Anything and everything that has to do with blogging. Specifically editing your blog page thing (or whatever you guys call it). You see, I have to learn this for internet outsourcing. Now, believe me, I could go on and on about it, copy pasting from wiki and the like, pretending to know something about it, but honestly, I don't know anything about it. I tried researching, unfortunately I couldn't understand everything I read. All I know is that having a little background about blogging gives you an edge in this line of work. So there. Any amount of information you could put in terms a blogging virgin could understand in one sitdown would greatly be appreciated.
P.S. I prefer calling you "glenbelle", glenbelle..ü
